Our client is an Israeli company offering a unified AI-powered customer communication platform. It enables businesses to manage all customer interactions across channels — including chat, email, WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, SMS, voice, and video — from a single interface.

Key Requirements:

🔹5+ years of experience as a QA Automation Engineer testing complex web-based applications;
🔹2+ years of experience with Playwright and TypeScript, including building frameworks and infrastructure from scratch;
🔹Proficient coding skills in TypeScript/JavaScript, with experience in Node.js;
🔹Proven experience writing scalable test infrastructure, including:
– Selector strategy (XPath, CSS, Etc.)
– Timeout and wait condition handling
– Logging, reporting, and debugging (Allure, ReportPortal, etc.)
– Utilities and reusable helper functions
– Page Object Model design and implementation
– Parallel test execution using Playwright workers
– Environment configuration
– Network request mocking and backend simulation (API, 3rd-party responses)
– CI/CD pipeline integration (GitHub Actions, Docker)
🔹Hands-on experience with API testing and automation, preferably with Python;
🔹Experience working with SQL for data validation and backend testing;
🔹Proficiency with Docker and establishing cloud-based CI/CD pipelines;
🔹Familiarity with Selenium, particularly infrastructure and Web UI automation;
🔹Practical use of AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini) in QA workflows;
🔹Experience with Jira, Xray test management systems;
🔹English – Upper-Intermediate or higher.

Will be plus:

🔹Familiarity with containerized environments using Kubernetes;
🔹Experience with Playwright MCP and advanced AI-assisted automation workflows.

What you will do:

🔹Design, build, and maintain scalable, efficient, and reusable Playwright automation infrastructure;
🔹Develop and maintain end-to-end UI test automation using Playwright and TypeScript;
🔹Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Docker, and cloud infrastructure;
🔹Perform advanced troubleshooting and debugging across cloud deployments;
🔹Monitor automated test execution, analyze errors, and ensure test reliability and stability;
🔹Simulate real-world messaging flows (e.g., WhatsApp, SMS) using API mocking;
🔹Integrate and manage Playwright reporting tools such as Allure, ReportPortal, and the built-in inspector;
🔹Leverage AI-driven tools to boost QA productivity, speed up test creation, and improve documentation and debugging;
🔹Collaborate closely with developers, DevOps, Product, and QA teams to ensure complete and seamless test coverage;
🔹Participate in Scrum ceremonies, contribute to sprint planning, and help establish and uphold QA best practices across teams.
